Beer

"The Best Pint of Guinness in Prague!"

Or at least that is what the late Richard Harris told Molly when he was one of her regulars, and who are we to argue with the great man!

But Molly's is not just about Irish beer, be it her famous Guinness, or her creamy, soft Kilkenny, for Molly's is situated in the capital city of the Czech Republic, the home of beer! Molly often says that the Czechs are to beer as the French are to wine and to be sure the Czechs take enormous pride in their beer and their brewing culture.

Do you know where Pilsner comes from?

For example, modern lager was invented in Pilsen (60 miles east of Prague), hence the term Pils, and since then the Czechs have brought us lagers that the rest of the world can only sit back and admire.

The Old Spring

As a resident of Prague, Molly thought it only right and proper to serve up the best the capital has to offer. Staropramen (which translates as old spring) is brewed just a few kilometers across the Vltava river in the Smichov area of the city.

As such, Molly is sure that her lager is cool, fresh, crisp and refreshing - sure isn't it brewed just a stone's throw from her front door. Czech beer is something very special and Molly offers you the very best atmosphere in which to savour it.
