Czech CuisineSure it wouldn't it be justice at all, to have a pub in Prague and not serve up some of the delicious dishes that this beautiful city has to offer. As such, Molly is happy to prepare some of the best in traditional Czech cuisine. Of course, it's not really a chore as Bohemian dishes are perfect for any pub and go down a treat with a clean, crisp, golden Czech lager (and there's none better than Molly's and that's for sure!)
Its Czech name is "Rizek" and has been a firm favourite in Bohemia for hundreds of years. In accordance with this tradition Molly has prepared a delicately flattened and breaded piece of the leanest pork, gently crumbed with her home made bread and slow fried to perfection... it has to be tasted to be believed. (Molly's tip: try this with a freshly poured pint of cider, the combination of the sparkling apple tingle with the soft pork is a genuine taste sensation!)
Served with dumplings in the traditional Czech fashion, Molly's goulash uses the most tender pieces of lean beef which are cooked in her goulash sauce, ensuring the fullest, mouth-watering, flavour possible. This meal is delicious with Czech beer (sure isn't that what it's made for!) but is also excellent with Guinness as the extra hops compliment the meal's paprika delightfully. |
